We are delighted to announce the launch of Assist Care Agency, a new chapter in our journey to deliver outstanding care.
Since 1998, Assist Care has been trusted to support thousands of people at home and through NHS discharge pathways across West Sussex and Surrey. Alongside this, we have built our reputation as an ethical employer, with fair pay, paid travel time, enhanced evening and weekend rates, and strong support for every member of our team.
The idea for our Agency grew from a simple conversation between Tim Wilson and Zoe Wickens, two long-standing colleagues who share a passion for quality and compliance in care. Over pancakes at The Orchard Café, they agreed that agency supply could – and should – be done differently. From that day forward, Assist Care Agency was launched.
Our Agency is not just about filling a shift. We provide fully trained temps, to a regulated standard, who arrive ready to contribute as part of the team. When challenges arise, such as Safegaurdings, Section 42 enquiries, CQC notifications, or incident reporting, our support does not stop at staffing. We bring expertise, advice, and reassurance, treating every placement as if the care home were our own.
This approach ensures that our agency workers are not outsiders, but valued professionals who stand shoulder to shoulder with care teams during their most testing times.
With this launch, Assist Care is proud to be both a Care Provider and a Care Agency. Our mission remains unchanged: to extend our caring arm to colleagues, clients, and care teams alike, delivering safe, professional, and compassionate care.
We are excited for this next step and look forward to supporting more homes, more professionals, and more people in need of care.
